Dedicated Lifting Device for Central Lifting Road Plates

The St Helens Plant Road Plate Central Lifting Device provides a secure connection point for the controlled lifting, positioning and removal of our Central Lifting Road Plates. Designed to engage with the purpose-made central lifting insert incorporated into the road plate, the device locates securely into the lifting point before being connected to the appropriate lifting chain and mechanical lifting equipment.

Safer, Controlled Road Plate Handling

Heavy steel road plates require careful handling and suitable lifting equipment. Some contractors, infrastructure projects and individual sites specify a dedicated central lifting arrangement as part of their lifting procedures, risk assessments and site requirements. The Central Lifting Device provides a defined lifting attachment specifically designed for use with the corresponding road plate insert, allowing the plate to be raised, lowered and positioned without relying on improvised lifting points.

Part of the St Helens Plant Central Lifting System

St Helens Plant manufactures the Central Lifting Road Plate and its integrated lifting insert and can supply the corresponding lifting device and chain, providing customers with a complete road plate lifting system from a single UK supplier.

The system is suitable for construction, utilities, highways, civil engineering, infrastructure and groundworks applications where central lifting road plates are specified. For projects that do not require a central lifting arrangement, St Helens Plant also manufactures and supplies traditional Anti-Skid Road Plates alongside a comprehensive range of road plate and groundworks equipment.
